Attorney HASHINI RATHNAYAKA

Hashini brings an international legal background to her work at Kerrane Storz. Before joining the firm, she worked in the United States and abroad on complex litigation and real estate matters. She is admitted to practice law in Texas and qualified to practice law in Sri Lanka. Hashini earned her LL.M. in U.S. Law from Texas A&M University School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Colombo. She is also a credentialed mediator through the Tarrant County Dispute Resolution Center and holds certifications in e-discovery and legal technology.

Prior to law school in the United States, Hashini practiced and trained internationally in both litigation and real estate matters. She worked as a Litigation Paralegal at Lathrop GPM LLP, assisting attorneys through all phases of complex commercial and trust and estate litigation. She also gained experience in conveyancing and commercial real estate transactions while working with a law firm in the United Kingdom.

While pursuing her LL.M. at Texas A&M University School of Law, Hashini worked as a Law Clerk at Ben Martin Law Group, assisting attorneys with high-stakes federal and state litigation involving product liability, medical malpractice, and personal injury matters. She also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M School of Law, helping instruct LL.M. students in legal writing and analytical reasoning.

Outside of work, Hashini enjoys traveling with her husband, cooking, exploring new restaurants, working out, and attending live music events.
