Get to Know CALVIN FREAS

Calvin didn’t take a traditional path to becoming a lawyer—and that experience shapes the way he fights for clients today. Before joining Kerrane Storz, he worked in criminal defense, government service, defense contracting, and information technology. He also served as an emergency dispatcher and supported logistics operations for U.S. troops, building a reputation for staying calm under pressure and solving difficult problems. Calvin has successfully taken on governmental entities in litigation and won a pro bono appeal in criminal defense practice. Today, he brings that same toughness and real-world perspective to representing homeowners and property owners in serious construction-defect cases. Outside the office, he enjoys hiking, cooking, and spending time with his wife and family.
