Colorado HOA Oktoberfest

Each fall, Kerrane Storz and Orten Cavanagh Holmes & Hunt host the largest and longest-running HOA industry charity event in Colorado: HOA Oktoberfest.  Over the past twenty years, this annual tradition has grown into far more than a celebration. What began as a heartfelt thank-you to the professionals who serve Colorado communities has evolved into a meaningful event centered on connection, appreciation, and philanthropy.  Inspired by the generosity and compassion within the HOA industry, the event was created not only to bring people together, but also to make a lasting difference for those in need throughout our broader community.  HOA Oktoberfest proudly supports the Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Center (JAMLAC), a nonprofit organization providing critical legal services to low-income individuals and families. This partnership reflects the event’s mission: bringing professionals together in the spirit of gratitude while supporting vulnerable members of our community through meaningful charitable giving.  To date, HOA Oktoberfest has raised more than $500,000 for JAMLAC.

Texas MS150

This year, Kerrane Storz proudly participated for the first time in the Texas MS 150, a two-day charitable cycling event benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Members of our firm joined thousands of riders, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters in riding from Houston to College Station in support of individuals and families affected by multiple sclerosis. Participating in the MS 150 reflected the same values that guide our work every day—commitment, perseverance, teamwork, and giving back to the community.

From training and fundraising to completing the ride itself, the event was both a rewarding challenge and a meaningful opportunity to support an important cause. We are proud to have participated in our first MS 150 and look forward to continuing our involvement in the years ahead.
