Windows and doors are specific locations where proper integration of exterior cladding materials is essential. Without proper installation of windows and exterior cladding materials, water leaks can occur and cause damage to drywall, framing, and personal possessions. Additionally, windows and doors can be defective in other manners, causing fogged or stuck windows.
Common window and door defects include:
