9th Annual Oktoberfest Raises Over $35,000

Benson, Kerrane, Storz & Nelson and Orten Cavanagh & Holmes' 9th Annual Oktoberfest event raised $38,135 to support JAMLAC, the Justice and Mercy Legal Aid Clinic. This year's event took place at the Denver Athletic Club on Friday, October 2nd. Oktoberfest brought together more than 300 people serving community associations throughout Colorado. Oktoberfest has raised more than $300,000 for local charities over the past ten years.

Founded in 2006, JAMLAC has become a safe and confidential resource for victims of daily hardship and cruelty. Full-time attorneys, paralegals, interns and volunteers manage approximately 50 active cases each week. JAMLAC also partners with the Christian Legal Society to provide free consultation clinics at local churches and homeless shelters in the Denver metro area.
