Benson, Kerrane, Storz & Nelson received the final portion of a construction defect arbitration award against Pulte Homes for a Commerce City townhome association. After payment of all fees and costs, the Association will receive $3,895,846 to make repairs to the Association. During a three-week arbitration hearing that took place earlier in the year, the Association brought construction defect claims involving firewalls, among other issues.
"We are pleased with the result we were able to obtain for our client, and most importantly, we are glad that the Association will be able to begin making significant repairs that will benefit the entire community," said Jeff Kerrane, partner at Benson, Kerrane, Storz & Nelson.
